The Children of Srebrenica is dedicated to the memory of 8,372 victims murdered by the Serbian armed forces and their collaborators. We believe the best way to preserve the truth of what happened in Srebrenica is by listening and learning from those who survived it. By collecting their stories, we're ensuring that the voices of survivors are never silenced. Our mission is to honour those lost, support survivors and their descendants, and educate the world about what happened to prevent future atrocities.
In July 1995, over 8,000 Bosniak men and boys were murdered in the worst atrocity on European soil since World War II. Families were torn apart, communities displaced, and the impact is still felt across generations. By preserving their stories and educating others, we aim to prevent such tragedies from happening again.
